Businesses across the city can now enter the annual Dragonboat Race at
The popular event, now in its 17th year, will see company teams of 11 battle it out along Birmingham's canal network to be crowned the 2016 champion.
To coincide with Father's Day, this year's race will also include a boat of dads comprising patrons, patients and ambassadors of Cure Leukaemia which is again the race's chosen charity.
Former Wolverhampton Wanderers player Geoff Thomas, who was treated for leukaemia by is now one of its patrons and will be on the boat of dads.
Teams will comprise ten paddlers and a drummer and compete in traditional Chinese longboats in the canal next to the Barclaycard Arena.
