From Wylfa Newydd to digital services these issues can help to unlock the potential of the economy

The North Wales Growth Bid

This clears the way for the Government to implement its manifesto.

While economic development is a devolved issue there are ways the º£½ÇÊÓƵ Government can help North Wales to thrive.

Wylfa Newydd

The long running Brexit saga and associated uncertainty has been partly blamed for the failure to secure the final investment in Wylfa Newydd - with claims it has not received the level of attention required.

Hitachi shelved the £12bn Anglesey project in January due to a failure to agree a funding deal with º£½ÇÊÓƵ ministers although the planning process has continued.

Now that the way forward on Brexit is clearer - albeit still complex - it is hoped there will be fresh impetus in ensuring the project moves forward.

With a push on reducing carbon footprint, reviving the build programme of a new generation of nuclear plants should be a priority although cost concerns will continue to be a potential hurdle.
