Developer Anwyl Partnerships has reopened all building sites across the North West and North Wales.
The Ewloe, North Wales, based firm is currently operating at 70% capacity as it gradually reintegrates its large workforce following the Covid-19 restrictions.
Two major projects, a social housing scheme in Rhyl and an extracare scheme in Aberystwyth, have remained live throughout the pandemic.
Through partnering with subcontractors and suppliers, the projects at the former Grange Hotel site in Rhyl, which had reached roof installation stage, and an Extra Care scheme in Aberystwyth, which was preparing to accept the timber frame structure, were able to continue.
They said social distancing practices were manageable on both sites.
During lockdown and moving forward, Anwyl Partnerships said its continues to adapt its wider operation in response to government guidelines and industry directives.
Tom Anwyl, managing director of Anwyl Partnerships, said: “Without a doubt, the past eight weeks have been incredibly challenging. We’ve carefully followed Government advice and the information provided by the Construction Leadership Council and have been introducing practical and sustainable changes almost daily in line with this information.
“Open and clear channels of communication have been retained throughout and we’ve worked closely with all of our partners to apply the correct approach and implement the most appropriate processes.

Tom continued: “We currently have eight major live projects with a further four to begin in the coming months.
"The way we work both on site and internally has shifted in many ways.
"On site, for example, we have introduced external hand washing stations, staggered lunch breaks, segregated circulation areas and more. Thought and attention to detail is paramount but with careful planning we are achieving all of our objectives - moving forward we will undoubtedly introduce some of these changes long term.
“Thinking ahead, I believe the pandemic will fast track the movement towards modern methods of construction and we will see more demand for this approach, which our business already embraces.”
He concluded: “Communication between employees working from home and the construction teams was easily accommodated as we had begun using Microsoft Teams for online meetings over twelve months ago.
