They say a picture is worth 1,000 words, well Marketing Humber’s latest resource gift to the region may stretch that some more.

The place promotion agency has launched a new visual tool to aid the Energy Estuary’s investment case, while easing the telling of a transformational story to all who need to hear it.

pulled together the key projects that could make it a pioneer within the response to the global climate change emergency.

Developed in partnership with Catch, it takes in offshore wind, hydrogen production and carbon capture and storage, explaining the link and aiding the holistic view.

Bill Walker, chairman of Marketing Humber, launched it at this week’s Humber Decarbonisation Network meeting.

He said: “Marketing Humber created the term ‘The º£½ÇÊÓÆµ’s Energy Estuary’ The phrase quickly caught on and the illustrative map we developed to run alongside the resulting campaign continues to play an instrumental role in supporting policymakers, politicians, and the brilliant businesses at the front end of this essential, fast-changing sector, conveying a compelling, cohesive case to secure new investment.

“The Humber has achieved more than £40 billionn in industry investment in the past eight years, the bulk of it related to new approaches to energy production.
