Crest Nicholson launches new development of homes in Chippenham

Many of the properties will be eligible for the government's help to buy scheme

A new development of homes has been launched in Chippenham, in Wiltshire.

Property developer Crest Nicholson is behind Langley Point - a mixture of 44 one and two-bedroom apartments - along Foundry Lane in the town.

Many of the properties, which are between four and five storeys and are surrounded by landscaped green space, will be eligible for the government-backed help-to-buy scheme. The first residents are due to move in late 2020.

Sandra Dixon, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson South West, said: “There is strong demand from first-time buyers for high-quality homes in attractive market towns, such as Chippenham, with excellent travel connections."

Each apartment has an open-plan living-dining-kitchen area, including Symphony kitchens with AA rated appliances, according to the developer, and all the master bedrooms are fitted with a wardrobe.

The launch of Langley Point follows on from Crest Nicholson's Bowood Gate development in nearby Calne and a previous scheme in the Cepen Hill area.

Sandra said: "Following the success of our Bowood Gate development, we are very excited to return to such a vibrant location to launch a range of beautiful one and two bedroom apartments.

"Interested purchasers should get in contact as soon as possible, as we predict these properties will prove popular due to their fantastic location.”
