CPº£½ÇÊÓƵ wins £12m contract to build Salford riverfront apartment scheme

The firm took part in a two-stage tender for the contract with Bolton-based developer Forshaw Land & Property Group

Independent building and civil engineering company Construction Partnership º£½ÇÊÓƵ Group (CPº£½ÇÊÓƵ) has won a £12m contract to build a riverfront apartment scheme in Salford.

The construction company is building The Waterhouse, an 86-high specification apartments off Worrall Street on the Salford side of the Irwell, which will feature roof terraces, private balconies in the one, two and three-bedroom apartments, a gym, cycle storage and option car parking spaces.

Some of the apartments, available to buy off plan, are duplexes.

Steve Burke, managing director of CPº£½ÇÊÓƵ, said: “We have negotiated and won several high-quality residential builds during the past three years in Manchester and Salford.

“We have a lot of experience working on difficult sites and this project fits well with our expertise in residential new builds.”

The firm took part in a two-stage tender for the contract with Bolton-based developer Forshaw Land & Property Group.

Mr Burke said: “This is our second scheme with Forshaw following on from the successful 179 unit Huddersfield student accommodation development.

“Forshaw is a developer that takes unloved land and forgotten buildings and turns them into the unique spaces that bring land back to life.”
