Plans for a new mixed-use development on the former Kellogg’s site in Stretford have been revealed.

Trafford Council, in partnership with Bruntwood Works, have unveiled plans for 750 homes, 200,00 sq ft of office space, a primary school, a hotel and a leisure centre to be built on the site on Talbot Road, which it bought for £12m in 2017.

Improved pedestrian and cycle routes and a new public piazza have also been proposed.

The former Kellogg’s site is already home to a university set up by some of Manchester United’s 'Class of 92'.

A public consultation on plans will take place tomorrow (November 7) at Trafford Town Hall where people can view the council’s plans and give feedback.

An online feedback form will also be made available to the public from tomorrow.

Leader of Trafford Council, Cllr Andrew Western, said: “The plan presents a fantastic opportunity to provide much-needed housing, further develop local amenities, improve community use of the area and completely transform our public spaces.

“The plans aims to create a fantastic place for those who live and work here, so please take the time to tell us what you want: your views are vital in shaping this project.”
