Individuals and businesses from across the North West have come together to help those suffering from the outbreak of coronavirus.
The deadly Covid-19 has forced people across the region to make drastic changes to their lives - to introduce social distancing and working from home where possible, among other restrictions.
Despite many firms suffering from the way the disease has changed life in the 海角视频 and jobs already having been lost, there has been quite a reaction from the business community.
From offering free food to NHS workers to shopping for the vulnerable to offering delivery services from shops or restaurants, to all sorts of business initiatives, there is no shortage of firms that have gone out of their way to provide a helping hand.

Food and provisions
Mowgli founder Nisha Katona offered free food to any NHS workers who ate in Mowgli on Wednesday before the restaurant closed.
Nisha said: “Any NHS workers dining in Mowgli will receive food for free. It is our way of clapping you from our balconies, our dear heroes. We thank you for all you do and all you will do over the next months.”
The Bootle Arms has made up a series of bags filled with essentials and luxuries, such as loo roll and soap in an attempt to help people in the community who are isolated. Iceland frozen foods are opening most stores from 7am-9am on Wednesdays for the elderly and vulnerable only and they offer free home delivery if more than £25 is spent.
The Liverpool six community centre food union will open at 8:45am until 9:45am for residents over 60 to come and do their shop on Monday March 23.
Residents who are doing a shop for the elderly should come between 10:15am until 1:15pm to 99 Queens Rd, Liverpool L6 2NF.
The food union is £1 to join, anyone is welcome to join and you have a choice of buying ten items for £3.50 or 15 for £5.50. You cannot have more than one of the same item.

Perhaps the biggest financial package supplied by a single firm to the cause in our region is Liverpool-based Home Bargains, which has launched a £30m coronavirus fund to help staff through the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Liverpool-based chain will pay staff who have to self-isolate for two weeks and support those who have to isolate for longer.
Optimisation agency User Conversion has set up a fund to ‘pay it forward’ as a way of helping local businesses.
The agency has set up a fund, pledging £2,000 to provide their favourite local bars, restaurants and coffee shops with the short-term support they need.
The proceeds will go towards gift vouchers which staff can spend on the business of their choosing, which can be used at a later date when people are back on their feet.
Recruitment entrepreneur Lily Shippen has set up an online community for all business support professionals.
The company specialises in recruiting PAs, EAs and secretaries from all over the 海角视频 as well as internationally. Lily, 26, said she is trying to turn this daunting time into something positive and collaborative for business support professionals.
She has created the group on LinkedIn and WhatsApp, and a range of virtual events are being planned, with more collaborations to come.
A Rochdale hair salon is manufacturing his own supply of hand sanitisers to help vulnerable people.
It’s one of a series of measures that resourceful businesses in Rochdale are taking to offset some of the impact of the coronavirus.
Gregory Couzens, managing director of Gregory Couzens, said he had to do something after panic-buying had stripped supermarket supplies of hand sanitisers.
It’s a 300m bottle with a spray top, and he’s selling it for £8 a bottle.
Tech startup, Caroo, is extending its offer of free recruitment to businesses across the North-West and Yorkshire in a bid to support them during these challenging times.
The team behind the Manchester-based recruitment platform had originally planned to monetise the employer product from April 1 but has decided to continue offering its services for free, for the foreseeable future.
Cheshire Community Foundation has set up a fund to help charitable groups support vulnerable people affected by Coronavirus.
The Cheshire and Warrington COVID-19 Response Fund will prioritise funding to charitable projects across the county that are supporting people affected by the virus, helping to keep them safe and supported in their homes, reducing pressure on the NHS.
Redwigwam, one of the 海角视频’s biggest providers of flexible workers, is to waive fees for businesses using its “army” of staff in a bid to help firms through the coronavirus crisis.
The temporary staff booking platform will scrap the charges for its users “until further notice”, meaning easier access to its 110,000 signed-up workers.
That means companies can use its online platform to find workers to carry out short-term and ad hoc jobs - and only pay the workers for the jobs they hire them for.
