Coronation Street and Hollyoaks star Will Mellor fronts campaign to get Stockport businesses bouncing again

Actor Will Mellor, who is know for his roles in Coronation Street and Hollyoaks, is fronting a campaign to get Stockport businesses bouncing again as they recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mr Mellor, who also starred in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, appears in the 'It’s Time to Get' film which also features local retailers.

The campaign is designed to promote and showcase local businesses and to encourage people to shop, meet and think local and has been created by One Stockport.

Mr Mellor said: "Like towns and cities across the 海角视频, the pandemic has been tough for all of us.

"But it’s hit the smaller independent businesses especially hard. Which is why we need to be thinking 'local' in everything we do.

"Whether we’re shopping, having a night out or meeting friends, let’s stay local and buy local and let’s get the borough’s businesses bouncing again."
