Opportunities for businesses to export to the Nordic and Baltic regions of Europe have been highlighted by the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce and 海角视频TI.

Total 海角视频 exports to the two northern European markets are currently greater than thosse to the four BRIC emerging markets (Brazil, Russia, India and China) combined.

Despite a reelatively low population the area remains the 海角视频鈥檚 sixth most important trade partner.

A special event for businesses held recently by the chamber and 海角视频TI welcomed a series of keynote speakers as well as 鈥榗ase study鈥 companies, who told businesses attending that trading overseas should no longer be seen as a mystery.

Mick Page, head of international trade at the chamber, said a market visit to the Baltics in June was a further example that businesses who export are not alone.

He said: 鈥淚 believe that we have really started to get the message out to firms in Coventry and Warwickshire the importance of international trade and the great opportunities it brings to grow your business.

鈥淭he event was a further example of that and we do need to keep reinforcing the message that there is assistance available to start exporting 鈥 you wouldn鈥檛 be alone.

鈥淲e took a delegation to Denmark earlier this year to give companies an idea of how market visits work and the benefits you can take from them.

鈥淭he visit to the Baltics in June has just a few spaces left and on this occasion we are hopeful that it will see trade opportunities advanced for those companies attending.鈥
