Rishi Sunak will take to the despatch box on Wednesday to deliver his spring Budget - believed by many to be the most crucial speech made in his role as Chancellor so far.

Much had already been reported as early as last week as to what he will announce on Wednesday - including an expected extension to the stamp duty holiday.

But there are still various uncertainties and rumours over what could be in his annual statement.

Follow our live updates on Budget day 2021 here.

He has said his Budget will focus on four key themes - "support, vision, recovery, honesty" when he addresses the nation, and everyone from hospitality business owners to the self-employed to high-profile bankers will be paying close attention to what is said.

Here are 21 things to watch out for when Mr Sunak takes to his feet in the House of Commons on Wednesday:

£5bn to help venues reopen

One of the figures the Government is most keen to shout about ahead of Wednesday's Budget is the £5bn grant scheme to help shops, pubs, restaurants and other businesses reopen.

These will be called "restart grants" - worth up to £6,000 per premises to help non-essential shops reopen.
