A 鈥15 in 鈥15鈥 list of major events taking place next year has been compiled by Birmingham鈥檚 business tourism experts.

The list has been compiled by Meet Birmingham for international business travel trade show IMEX, which takes place in Frankfurt this week.

Ian Taylor, commercial director of Marketing Birmingham, which operates Meet Birmingham, said: 鈥淣ext year is set to be one of Birmingham鈥檚 busiest and most exciting periods for over a decade.

鈥淭he city鈥檚 visitor economy has grown by 11 per cent over the past six years 鈥 resulting in a record number of tourists and spend, with 33.8 million visitors contributing more than 拢5 billion to the local economy.

鈥淏irmingham is building an exciting future for itself as a leading international destination with significant infrastructure changes set to open up the city to new markets and tourists. We look forward to welcoming even more business tourism visitors to experience the region in the coming years.鈥
