A Birmingham firm which has convinced smokers to trade millions of traditional cigarettes with electronic ones has created an alternative to Cuban cigars.
Aston-based has created a disposable electronic cigar after channelling its e-cigarette production experience into the new product.
The firm, which has grown from a small start up to turning over £30 million in little time, said it boasts a real Cuban flavour and smokers can expect to get around 1,000 puffs from each e-cigar.

Nicolites’ managing director Nikhil Nathwani said e-cigars contain no tar, tobacco or any of the thousands of chemicals and toxins associated with conventional cigars, including carbon monoxide and arsenic.
He added: “We have always wanted to offer cigar smokers the same benefits that our e-cigarettes provide, while broadening the Nicolites brand to an even wider audience.
“We think that our offering will be extremely popular. Each e-cigar boasts an authentic Cuban flavour, is easy to hold and provides a great sense of satisfaction. We expect them to sell extremely well across the world and not just to business tycoons, politicians and Hollywood A-listers.”
Nicoloites moved its 65-strong workforce to a new 10,000 sq ft head office and distribution centre in the city earlier this year after sales growth.
In the six months from January, Nicolites estimates it has replaced up to 200 million traditional cigarettes with its electronic alternative, and directors expect this number to continue to grow rapidly over the next six months with sales forecast to hit the one billion mark before the end of the year.
The firm supplies Tesco, Asda, Superdrug, Co-op, WHSmiths, Martin McColls and more than 10,000 independent pharmacies and convenience stores.
