A team of ten Birmingham bankers have volunteered time and donated tools to a Black Country children’s hospice.

The business managers from NatWest did a days gardening at Acorns Children’s Hospice in Walsall as part of the bank’s initiative to donate time to local good causes.

The bank staff also spent time with children at the hospice and were given a tour of the site.

Luke Brown, director of Business Banking, said: “Acorns is a really excellent cause and we were only too happy to give our time to help support them.

“We also didn’t mind the rain while we were there – you have to put up with it to get a rainbow!”

NatWest will continue to support the charity financially throughout the year and help with the upkeep of the garden and surrounding buildings.
