叠顿翱鈥檚 Technology Advisory Team hosted a Reluctant IT Director seminar at its Birmingham office. The event was specifically for senior managers in mid-sized businesses, such as the finance director, who have been 鈥渄ropped in IT鈥. It concentrated on Cyber Security as it鈥檚 one of the five top challenges keeping finance directors awake at night.
鈥嬧婮ohn Dennison, partner, Gavin Davis, director, and Steve Rumble, partner, from the Technology Advisory team presented at the event.
Mr Dennison commented that 鈥渕id-market organisations cannot justify the cost of an IT director and responsibility is generally assigned to the head of finance who may not be IT savvy but who is regarded as a 鈥榮afe pair of hands鈥.
