BBC energy expert Roger Harrabin to speak at major Hull conference

One of the BBC’s biggest names in environment and energy has been added to the line-up of a two-day Northern Powerhouse conference being held in Hull next month.

Roger Harrabin is the broadcasting company’s environment and energy analyst, and has covered some of the biggest issues facing the industry since the 1980s.

He has featured on the Today Programme, the Ten O’Clock News and BBC World, sharing his expertise on a range of subjects.

Mr Harrabin has now been announced as the speaker at the curtain closer of the Energy & Clean Growth in the Northern Powerhouse Conference.

The two-day event, being held at Hull’s Bonus Arena on November 5 and 6, will culminate with a glittering gala dinner at Hull Minster.

The BBC figure will speak at the dinner, expected to be attended by 250 national and regional politicians, business leaders and industry experts.
