BAM wins contract to build Three Snowhill

Company behind Barclaycard Arena and Beorma Quarter developments has won project to deliver £90m landmark office building

Work on one of the city's largest office developments will start later this year after a main contractor was appointed.

BAM, the construction group behind the Barclaycard Arena and Beorma Quarter redevelopments, will deliver the £90 million Three Snowhill, completing the prestigious office-led estate off

The project comprises 360,000 sq ft of grade A offices and 40,000 sq ft of leisure and retail space and parking over 16 storeys.

Situated alongside station, it will join neighbours and - home to Barclays, KPMG and HS2 among others.

Development group led Two Snowhill and is also behind this latest project.

BAM said it would be remodelling the existing five levels of basement and cores which serve all three phases, creating office, leisure and conference space and car parking.

Above ground, it will be a steel framed office tower with curtain walling to all elevations.

BAM has appointed Paul Avery, the man who recently led the £20 million refurbishment of the Barclaycard Arena, as project manager for the scheme.
