Accounts and Legal opens first Northern office in Manchester

Firm will offer accounting, tax and legal advice as businesses continue to navigate the coronavirus crisis

Accounts and Legal's new office is on Deansgate

An accounting firm with offices in London and Brighton has opened a third site in Manchester.

Accounts and Legal said on Thursday its new office will be based at 125 Deansgate, from where it will offer accounting, tax, business and legal advice as businesses continue to navigate the Covid-19 crisis.

The new Manchester office is being run by Stu Hurst, who has a wealth of business and accounting experience, having led the cloud team at a top 20 firm for several years, before joining Accounts and Legal as regional director.

Mr Hurst said: “Businesses need the support of their accountant more than ever, whether that's help with the furlough scheme, government grants and loan applications or cashflow forecasts to navigate through these uncertain times.

"We can also do more to help clients make the most of technology, which has proven to be so important during lockdown.

"I’ve tested nearly every cloud accounting app that has ever been created, so I can help clients get the most out of Xero both in terms of bookkeeping, payroll, payments and receipt processing.”

On top of accounting services, the firm has also recently launched legal services for employment, commercial and corporate law.
