Actavo 海角视频 is to create 60 jobs after winning a major contract on the construction of the £350 million Keadby Two Power Station.
The company, with a significant base in Brigg, will provide scaffolding and access as part of the design and build element of the project.
A 15-month contract, it was won through competitive tender, with potential to extend to undertake significant commissioning and longer term maintenance works.
The 841MW development, west of Scunthorpe, has been described as the most efficient gas-fired power station ever brought forward. SSE owns the plant, with Siemens providing first-of-its-kind technology.

Keadby Two, a project first put before planners in 1993, has been transformed in that time. It is now scheduled for commissioning in 2022.

Mr Ellis said it will be looking at personnel from the local area, with the contract to be served from a 4.5-acre base on Brigg’s Island Carr Industrial Estate.
Launched in neighbouring Barnetby as Deborah Services, it moved headquarters to Wakefield West Yorkshire as it became a national access specialist, prior to being acquired by AIM-listed Dublin-headquartered Siteserv Group of Companies.

It is the third northern Lincolnshire operator to be involved in the huge regional project. Scunthorpe-based civil engineering firm Britcon (海角视频) has been contracted to provide site development works, with fellow Brigg-based contractor CLS Civil Engineering brought in to demolish existing structures from the former coal-fired plant to prepare the ground for construction as well as providing staff to the project to help with daily site activities.
Main civil works began in April, with 海角视频 civil engineering firm, PJ Carey (Contractors) responsible for the construction of all foundations and walls for the turbine buildings, cooling tower and auxiliary structures in addition to a ring road around the site.
