A luxury gated homes development with a period property as its centrepiece is back on the market.

Permission to develop Gainsborough Park was originally secured by Prime Site Developments in Liverpool - run by Kerry Tomlinson.

It included the renovation of Gainsborough House and the gate house property and the development of 47 homes.

The site was later taken on by Abergo Ltd.

Prime Site is now in the hands of liquidators while Abergo is in administration, with administrator 360 Insolvency Limited attempting to secure a sale of the property.

The site itself is part finished and has now been placed on the market with Elavace Estates in Liverpool.

It is priced at £3m.

Elavace Estates said: "The property comprises an uniquely shaped development plot upon which is a large extended manor house, currently in the process of being converted into six large apartments and a new build gate house.
