Groundworks are underway at a 拢23 million new development from Beal Homes, as it hopes to capitalise on recent recognition of Beverley鈥檚 quality of life and a booming housing market.
St Mary鈥檚 View will feature 90 homes, with two, three and four-bedroom houses, as well as three-bedroom bungalows.
First properties are anticipated to complete next summer on the 7.3-acre site, off Poplars Way, around a mile from the heart of the town centre.

The Sunday Times has named Beverley as one of the 海角视频鈥檚 Best Places to Live, saying the history, culture, shops, restaurants, pubs and green spaces in the 鈥済orgeous Georgian market town鈥 all contribute to an outstanding quality of life.
St Mary鈥檚 View follows the "outstanding success" of Beal鈥檚 fastest-selling development ever, which is also in Beverley. The 55 homes at St John鈥檚 Fold, close to Beverley Minster, were snapped up within 12 months, with the final buyers moving in last autumn.

Brandesburton鈥檚 East Coast Construction has been appointed for groundworks, following on from the huge Greenways development in Goole, with the foundations for the first 12 houses anticipated this summer, prior to the Beal team starting. Roads and drainage are also being delivered.
Beal construction director John Goodfellow said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to be on site with another development in Beverley following the success of St John鈥檚 Fold.
