Employers across the North West have made a string of major job announcements in recent weeks - with thousands of opportunities on offer.
As recovery from the Covid pandemic continues, major employers such as Amazon, Boohoo, BGEN and On The Beach are among those to have announced they are looking for new hires in Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and further afield.

Boohoo
Boohoo has announced plans to create 5,000 jobs as part of a £500m investment plan in the 海角视频 to mark its 15th anniversary.
The Manchester-based online fashion retailer revealed on Thursday its 2021 Economic Impact Report, which outlined the firm's almost £2bn in GVA to the 海角视频 economy since 2009.
The jobs will be created over the next five years, and Boohoo said the investment will help the firm continue its "Incredible growth".

Amazon
Amazon has revealed plans to create another 1,250 jobs in London, Manchester, Cambridge and Edinburgh as part of a major expansion.
The business will hire new staff for its offices in London and Manchester, as well as its 'tech hubs' in Cambridge and Edinburgh, and it will also be looking for staff across its 海角视频 fulfilment centres, the PA news agency reports.
The move comes after US online retail giant already created 10,000 jobs so far this year. Amazon has a 海角视频 workforce totalling more than 55,000.
The company said it is hiring for 2,500 jobs in the country, but, when asked, it did not know how many are new positions and how many are part of the 10,000 already announced.

In an exclusive interview published this week, On The Beach CEO Simon Cooper told BusinessLive that he wants to see the company's headcount double over the next three to five years.
"The company has grown from one employee, me, to about 500 since 2004.

BGEN
A North West-based engineering firm has announced a major rebrand fuelling plans to create 200 jobs, expand into Africa and increase turnover to £175m.
Boulting has rebranded to BGEN as part of its growth proposals, and has promoted Robin Whitehead from managing director to chief executive - to oversee operations.
The Warrington-headquartered multi-discipline engineering solutions firm said the plans also include the opening of a new operation in Africa as the company expands its global footprint.
Lovell Homes
Lovell Homes has chosen The City of Liverpool College as its training partner to upskill employees, as part of its ambition to create hundreds of skilled jobs for local people in the region.
The news comes after the construction firm was awarded a contract for 100 homes to be built in the city region and spotted an opportunity to provide skills and employment for local people.
Through the partnership, The City of Liverpool College has designed a bespoke training programme including pre-employment training and apprenticeship training, giving Lovell access to the best candidates.

Peak
A Manchester-based artificial intelligence (AI) start-up has raised $75m in a funding round with the world's largest technology investor and is now set to create more than 200 jobs over the next 12 months.
The confirmation comes after BusinessLive reported recently that SoftBank's Vision Fund II had agreed to acquire a stake in Peak, which counts PepsiCo and the fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing among its clients.
The news also comes after Peak announced in February it was to create 130 jobs after it raised $21m through a Series B funding round led by London-based venture capital firm Oxx, with participation from MMC Ventures and Praetura Ventures and new investor Arete.
At the time, the move brought Peak’s total funding raised to $43m.
Peel Ports Group
Peel Ports Group has welcomed four huge new cranes to the Port of Liverpool as part of the next phase of the £400m Liverpool2 project.
The firm today announced four new operational cantilever rail-mounted gantry (CRMG) cranes opening up an additional 15 acres of yard capacity as part of the scheme.
The next phase of work will mean the creation of over 150 new jobs for the region
Zuto
A Manchester car finance firm is to create 100 new jobs by the end of the year as demand in the used car market soars.
Zuto said the new roles will be in addition to 150 new employees it has hired since the start of 2021, with the new jobs set to be based at the firm's Manchester and Macclesfield offices.
Zuto said it has also launched a sales graduate programme this year, and has recruited 35 graduates so far in 2021 with plans to hire more during the coming months.
ESS Modular
The creation of about 70 jobs in Manchester by a Republic of Ireland construction specialist has been welcomed by the country's Tánaiste, Leo Varadkar.
The news of the move by ESS Modular comes as Mr Varadkar leads a trade mission to the 海角视频 organised by Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government’s trade, and innovation agency.
ESS Modular has doubled its 海角视频 footprint with the new presence opening in Manchester.
Mr Varadkar said: "Ireland and Britain will always have a close relationship. Our two countries are interlinked in myriad different ways, and we will be looking to strengthen those ties as we emerge from the pandemic and face into future challenges, such as climate change and digitalisation.
The Dining Club Group
Manchester-headquartered The Dining Club Group, which is soon to become Ello Group, is to recruit at least 40 new team members following a year of substantial growth.
The technology, data and subscription business, which specialises in customer engagement and loyalty products, has already grown its team by over a third in the past 12 months, to 158.
Anwar Sultan, chief digital and strategy officer, said: "As we grow quickly, the last thing we want to do is lose sight of our people, who are at the heart of everything we do. So, our recruitment drive all comes back to our wider focus of prioritising culture and people alongside growth.
"As we look to the future, we want to continue growing as an agile, platform-first business that builds brilliant products and strategies, driven by data and insight.
"We’re delighted to welcome all of our new team members on board and to continue recruiting more great thinkers over the course of the year."
White Oak
An independent business lender has announced it is moving its HQ to Chester, and now plans to create 40 new jobs.
White Oak is to open a 15,000sq ft office in the city centre to accommodate its continued growth both in the region and across the 海角视频.
The firm, which moved its base from Ewloe in North Wales, said the 10-year lease reaffirms its commitment to the North West as its home.
Co-op Live
A minimum of 100 apprenticeships will be supported during the three-year construction of Co-op Live, the new 23,500 capacity arena by Manchester City's Etihad Stadium.
A new training hub for the local community will also be established, developers OVG and BAM have confirmed.
Alongside opportunities for apprenticeships in manual trades, such as mechanics, plumbing and electrical work related to the arena’s build, the project will also support technical and professional management roles like quantity surveyors, site managers, audio and visual technicians and other engineers.
These apprenticeships will provide highly skilled opportunities for young people ranging from level two through to level five, which is degree level work and beyond.
Visual Architects
A company which creates immersive decor for nightclubs, festivals and brand launches, has created three new jobs and increased productivity significantly following Made Smarter support.
Visual Architects, based in Hyde, Greater Manchester, has manufactured creative interiors and eye-catching designs for Parklife and Creamfields festivals, Adidas and The Hut Group brand launches, as well as bars, restaurants and hotels events.
But with the event industry in disarray from the pandemic and global lockdowns, Visual Architects has spent the last 15 months planning for the future.
It has been supported by the Made Smarter Adoption Programme in the North West, which helps businesses drive growth and productivity through digital tools and skills.
With the support of Made Smarter, the industry-led government-funded programme, Visual Architects has invested in a 7-axis Kuka CNC machining robot which has transformed its design and manufacturing capability and brought 70% of previously outsourced production in-house.
AND Digital
A tech consultancy has launched a new Manchester office, named after the first woman of colour to travel in space, and the creation of more than 60 jobs.
AND Digital, which has worked with the likes of British Airways, TalkTalk and Premier Inn, has opened 'Club Jemison' in honour of US astronaut Mae Jemison.
The latest 'club' will aim to build on the success of the company’s first Manchester-based location, Club Kilburn, which launched earlier this year and now counts Co-op, the Very Group and The Prince’s Trust among its clients.
The new base is located in Bloc, 17 Marble Street, Manchester.
Clothes2order
Manchester-based custom branded clothing company Clothes2order has announced plans to increase the size of its team by 15%, as it recruit 20 new staff to work at its Manchester HQ.
The team, based in Trafford, said it is looking forward to welcoming new colleagues following recent success at the 海角视频 Business Awards in July, where it won four awards, including Gold for Business Transformation.
MD Sam Jones said: “Despite significant challenges over the last 18 months, our award-winning business transformation has put us in a strong position as we come out of the other side. It is extremely exciting to be growing the team with 20 brand new staff to meet record breaking demand. Initially, the pandemic had a huge impact on us, as many of the industries we supply workwear and uniforms to had to shut down completely.
"We had to adapt quickly, and the team did a fantastic job of identifying opportunities and preparing the business for the country re-opening. Being able to give 20 people new jobs is truly a landmark achievement and one we are extremely proud of as we take the business into our next stage of growth.”
Solomon Commercials
One of the 海角视频's leading manufacturer of rigid refrigerated vehicles has announced it will create 50 new jobs after years of growth and contract wins.
Solomon Commercials said it is in a "fantastic position" to expand the workforce and the new roles will join its current 350-strong headcount.
The Lancashire-based firm said the boost in job numbers has been prompted by a series of contract wins for high-profile retailers and increased demand for vehicles needed for businesses that have expanded home delivery services.
Office Tech Holdings
A Tameside entrepreneur is to invest £2m in revamping a nearby out-of-town workspace, with the move set to create around 20 jobs.
Jason Dixon, group CEO of Office Tech Holdings, said a variety of roles will be needed at Globe House on Globe Lane in Dukinfield - the former Bardsley Building to meet the needs of the 700 people who work there.
Mr Dixon said he is "thoroughly committed to building a stylish, modern-day environment for a flexible working community".
Careerpass Network
Innovative technology business Careerpass Network is to create new jobs after it secured a £3m investment in a funding round led by NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, managed by Maven Capital Partners and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.
Founded in Manchester, with team members now based across the 海角视频, Careerpass Network was set up by CEO Zac Williams.
The business is now comprised of six member brands, comprising a candidate database of one million students and graduates and a client base of over a thousand employers and over a third of 海角视频 universities.
The £3m funding round includes £1m investment split evenly between NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, the Maven VCTs and the Government’s Future Fund, well as a £2m CBILS acquisition facility via Boost & Co.
