Twelve former directors from across Merseyside who had worked in sectors from women's clothing to parking enforcement have been banned by the Government from running another company.

The dozen people are listed on the Insolvency Service website and have been disqualified for a variety of reasons.

The disqualifications have all taken effect from various dates between now and December 2019, with the length of time depending on the level of misconduct.

All of the information below was provided by the Government's Insolvency Service.

Neelam Talwar, Prem Prakash Talwar and Reena Talwar, Rare Fashion Ltd

Type of business:  Women's clothing

Length of disqualification:  Four years

In July 2017, these three Woolton residents paid £109,251 of funds to their own bank accounts or credit card accounts  - and to the detriment of creditors - after the firm had become insolvent.

Rare filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators, however between July 17 and 21, made payments such as one to Reena Talwar's credit card provider for £7,194 as well as another to Prem Talwar £33,000, and a third to Neelam Talwar of £25,000.
