Construction has started on a 412-bedroom hotel at the £800m Airport City Manchester development.
The nine-storey Tribe hotel will feature a restaurant and bar, a gym, and a crew lounge for airline staff.
The build is expected to take place over two years and is being led by MY Construction, which was handed the £42m contract last year.

The hotel is expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2024.

Key contractors involved in the design, project management and construction of the project also include Faithful+Gould, AECOM, Dexter Moren Associates, Meinhardt, Rusupo and NBM.
