Construction work on the final phase of Matford Green Business Park in Exeter has begun.

Developers Eagle One are buiding two units - the K1 a trade counter/industrial/warehouse unit measuring 8,640 sq ft will be available on a leasehold basis.

The 20,000 sq ft unit K2 has been pre-let to a car dealership.

Both K1 and K2 are due to complete in summer 2023 and will be the fifth phase of the 26-acre development.

Noel Stevens, partner at Alder King who acted jointly for Eagle One, added: "I’m expecting demand for K1 to be strong given the lack of supply of new build space that persists in the market.”

Hitachi Construction Machinery º£½ÇÊÓƵ Ltd (HCMº£½ÇÊÓƵ) has been named as the latest business moving into at the development.

HCMº£½ÇÊÓƵ, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe, supplies excavators, wheel loaders, parts and servicing to the º£½ÇÊÓƵ and Irish construction industry.
