A training and information services company has moved from Sutton Coldfield to a new base in north Birmingham.

Wilmington has relocated its 100-strong team to the Fort Dunlop complex in Castle Bromwich and taken occupancy of its new home following a £675,000 fit out of 11,000 sq ft of space on the top floor.

Wilmington provides information, training and networking services to the risk and compliance, professional services and healthcare sectors.

The £122 million-turnover company, which has 20 offices around the world, said it had used the move to introduce a new way of working, moving from cellular offices to an open-plan environment.

Birmingham-based Estilo Interiors, which carried out the refit on behalf of Wilmington, said it worked with staff during the design process through workshops, tours and CGI walkthroughs and invited them to contribute to the design scheme.

A recording studio has also been installed for virtual training courses.

Gavin Culley, head of facilities management at Wilmington, said: "We're very proud to have completed our latest and greatest fit-out project.
