Vital schemes like the Wholesale Markets and Icknield Port Loop will be a prominent part of Greater Birmingham鈥檚 offer at global real estate show .
Designed to engage developers and companies looking to invest in the region, Greater Birmingham鈥檚 schedule will comprise 11 events and 25 speakers across the four-day property exhibition.
There will be a focus on the opportunities presented by flagship schemes, including the Black Country Enterprise Zone and 海角视频 Central in Solihull at the event from March 10 to 13 in Cannes
Enterprise zones will be a key message, with the Black Country鈥檚 seeing investment in excess of 拢1.5 billion from global names including Jaguar Land Rover and Moog while Birmingham鈥檚 has attracted a quarter 鈥 a total of 3,200 鈥 of the 12,530 jobs created since 2012 by the Government鈥檚 24 enterprise zones based nationwide.
At MIPIM, speakers include Andy Street, chair of the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP; Tom Westley, Black Country LEP lead for the enterprise zone; and Rob Groves, senior project director at property developer Argent will highlight the impact of the West Midlands鈥 enterprise zones on the 海角视频 economy, as well as plans to accelerate their growth.
Mr Westley said: 鈥淭he Black Country has a unique history of driving innovation forward, we are leading the way through world-class manufacturing and engineering and are seeing record levels of private sector investment. The Black Country Enterprise Zone, described as the most successful in the 海角视频, has seen unprecedented growth through a public and private sector partnership approach and we want to talk to potential investors about how they can be part of this success.

Based in Solihull, 海角视频 Central is regarded as one of the largest schemes in Europe, combining business, transport and entertainment assets with the area鈥檚 reputation as one of the most attractive places to live in the country.
At MIPIM, delegates will learn of the opportunities the site presents to investors. Councillor Ian Courts, deputy leader and cabinet member for economic development and land at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, said: 鈥満=鞘悠 Central offers an outstanding opportunity attracting growing interest from global investors.鈥
The Greater Birmingham team will also join forces with Greater London and Coventry at two events promoting the benefits of the new HS2 high speed rail network to the 海角视频鈥檚 economic prosperity and connectivity. Speakers include Sir Michael Bear, chairman of the 海角视频TI鈥檚 Regeneration Investment Organisation.
