Water Plus announces move to new Stoke-on-Trent HQ

The water retailer says the new base will provide it with the 'flexibility' it needs

The º£½ÇÊÓƵ's largest water retailer has relocated to a new headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent.

Water Plus – which is a joint venture between Severn Trent and United Utilities – has moved out of the Two Smithfield building in Hanley into new offices on the Riverside Park complex, off Campbell Road in Stoke.

The company's move follows a host of "significant" new contract wins in 2021, including with a major paint manufacturer and supplier and one of the largest waste management providers in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

Andy Hughes, chief executive of Water Plus, said: "We're really pleased to move to our new site, which will provide the flexibility we need, while continuing to be in Stoke-on-Trent.

"As part of the steps we've taken and the investments we've made, we're continuing to make enhancements to our digital services for customers, and our teams are here for customers who need to reach them."

Water Plus says its new Riverside Park base benefits from electric car charging and units that create drinking water from the air, which the company says it is trialling as part of efforts to reduce its environmental impact.
