Vehicle breaker Parts Emporium buys Notts site for £2m

Second site for company which specialises in breaking down cars and selling their parts to businesses overseas

Bradford used car parts exporter Parts Emporium has bought the 6.2-acre site in Kirkby-in-Ashfield

A north Nottinghamshire industrial site has been bought up by a vehicle breakers for £2 million.

Bradford-based used car parts exporter Parts Emporium has bought the 6.2-acre site in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

The sale was overseen by East Midlands commercial property consultancy Innes England.

Innes England said the site includes a large amount of open storage land, with a pre-fabricated office building and gatehouse.

It also has long-term development potential with outline planning for 81 new homes.

It was sold on behalf of vehicle recycling company Charles Trent Properties.

It will become the second site for Parts Emporium, which specialises in breaking down cars and selling their parts to businesses overseas.

Innes England director Scott Osborne said: “This is a fantastic deal for Innes England and we are really pleased to have secured a great result the client in less than two months from receiving the instruction.
