A sub-60 round of golf is seen as a massive achievement, there have only been 10 in the PGA Tour history.

The venue, which is being developed separately in partnership with a private investor - is estimated to open in late April 2020.

Edward Richards, asset manager at NewRiver who manage the Capitol Centre, said: “We are delighted to announce that Par 59 will be coming to the Capitol.

“They will be occupying the basement unit located on the corner of Queen Street and Station Terrace. They will revitalise space in the Centre that has been void for several years.
