The owner of the gigantic Stanlow refinery is set to acquire a neighbouring science park that will become its 海角视频 base as it continues its $3bn push into greener forms of energy in the North West.
Essar Energy Transition (EET) has signed a sale and purchase agreement to acquire Thornton Science Park through its subsidiary EET Property Limited. It鈥檚 part of the group鈥檚 ongoing $3bn commitment to energy transition across the North West, including its plans to slash emissions at the landmark Stanlow refinery.
The 66-acre Thornton Science Park is a key asset in the Cheshire Science Corridor, between Liverpool and Manchester, and houses many businesses working in fields related to green energy and the push to net zero.
The park will serve as the 海角视频 headquarters for EET and its businesses including Stanlow operator EET Fuels, bulk liquid storage terminal operator Stanlow Terminals, EET Hydrogen and EET Hydrogen Power.
