Developer St. Modwen Logistics has signed a trio of leasing deals in Stoke-on-Trent.

The company has signed three deals for its St. Modwen Park Stoke South development, on Trentham Lakes, which is now fully let.

The new deals will see staircase manufacturer Stairbox take 94,000 sq ft of space while laboratory glassware and packaging manufacturer, DWK Life Sciences, has agreed to take a 77,000 sq ft warehouse.

Last year, DWK Life Sciences announced it was taking on a huge new warehouse next to its Trentham Lakes factory on Gordon Banks Drive.

The final deal will see an unnamed 'well-known high street and online retailer' occupy a 53,000 sq ft unit.

Mike Walker, operations director at Stairbox, said: "We're thrilled to have been able to secure a new warehouse at St. Modwen Park Stoke South, especially one with such high sustainability standards.

"Our sustainability agenda is at the heart of everything we do, from our use of green energy to the recycling of all our waste timber and sawdust, and our requirement for a BREEAM 'Excellent' status was non-negotiable. The new factory supports our vision for the future of sustainable manufacturing, with solar panels and air source heat pumps."

Polly Troughton, managing director at St. Modwen Logistics, added: "At St. Modwen Logistics we provide the space and support our customers need to grow, and are pleased to be welcoming three successful and growing companies to St. Modwen Park Stoke South.
