Major retailers, entertainment giants and expanding law firms are among a whole host of businesses to announce high-profile commercial property deals across the North West in recent weeks.
The likes of Sports Direct, Vue, Castore and a major government department have all announced that they have taken significant space in the region.

Sports Direct
Sports Direct is to double the size of its flagship store at Manchester Arndale.
The retail giant, which is part of Mike Ashley's Frasers Group, has signed a 15-year lease and will relocate from its current 29,000 sq ft unit on the lower ground floor to a former BHS store which comprises five floors of 58,500 sq ft.
The larger store, set to open in late 2022, will see it incorporate its collection of brands including USC, Game, Evans Cycles, and Belong esports arena, under one roof.

Carousel
A PR agency which works with Selfridges, Cotton Traders and Bruntwood, is to relocate to new a former nightclub in Manchester which played host to the likes of Simply Red in the 1990s.
Carousel is to move its team from the Northern Quarter to Ducie House in Piccadilly Basin which used to be Home nightclub.
The 3,675sq ft space will provide the agency with an additional 1,000sq ft to accommodate its continuing growth.

Marktlink
An international mergers and acquisitions advisory firm has chosen Manchester as the home of its 海角视频 headquarters.
Marktlink is to take office space in King Street in the city centre in the short term, before establishing a permanent base following its first few months of operation.

High Street Solicitors
A Liverpool city centre law firm has created 80 jobs after recently relocating to new offices.
High Street Solicitors has taken 14,875 sq ft of space on the third floor at 1 Tithebarn Street.
The firm currently has a headcount of 75 and is now expected to more than double that total.

Vue
Manchester's Printworks is set to undergo a "transformational" £22m refurbishment after cinema chain Vue signed a new 20-year deal.
DTZ Investors, which purchased the site in February 2017 from Land Securities for £108m, has said work will start this month on the scheme which is part of Printworks' "trajectory towards international recognition as a pioneering round-the-clock entertainment destination".
The firm has also secured a new 20-year commitment to continue its ongoing partnership with Vue, who operate 23 screens at Printworks, including Europe’s second largest IMAX.

DCMS
Hundreds of jobs are set to be created after a major government department opened a large base in Manchester.
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has taken space in Marble Street, with the new hub accommodating up to 400 staff.
The move is part of DCMS's wider expansion across the 海角视频 with staff based to be in Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh, Loughborough and Darlington.

Maray
Restaurant group Maray has selected Bruntwood Works’ Union building on Albert Square in Manchester’s city centre as its first site outside of Liverpool.
The 3,326 sq ft site will be the fourth for Maray as it continues its growth, despite the recent challenging times for the hospitality sector.
Union is home to a range of leased office suites and is Bruntwood Group’s HQ, featuring a ground floor auditorium space, showers, studio gym and Ditto Coffee - another Liverpool brand - which opened its second Manchester outpost with Bruntwood Works in 2021.
Founded in 2014 by James Bates, Tom White and Dom Jones, Maray currently has three sites in Liverpool.
Castore
Manchester-headquartered sportswear brand Castore has added a second Newcastle United FC store to its expanding portfolio.
The new Magpies store will open at the Metrocentre in the coming months.
Co-founder Tom Beahon said: "After a successful few months trading in the new Stadium Store at St James’ Park, Castore is very excited to expand our Newcastle United retail portfolio by announcing our 2nd NUFC store, which is opening in the Metrocentre.
"We have been warmly welcomed by the fans and the city of Newcastle, and we’re looking forward to the latest expansion within the area."
Castore has 13 stores throughout the 海角视频, with plans to open a further 15 sites in 2022.
Astraea Linskills
Law firm Astraea Linskills has relocated to new offices at 14 Castle Street, in the heart of Liverpool's commercial district.
The firm has purchased the first-floor offices giving it 1,850 sq ft of space and more than doubles the previous offices it occupied at Avenue HQ, St. Paul’s Square.
Chief executive John-Paul Dennis said: "This move is the next stage of strategic growth for Astraea Linskills and allows the company to build on the solid foundations that the directors have laid to this point. It will provide our talented team with a welcoming, comfortable and productive workspace.
"We look forward to becoming part of the bustling Castle Street community as we execute the next phase in the companies expansion plans"
Dandara Living
Dandara Living has become the first company to take space at Vertex at Altrincham’s Business District.
The company will occupy 8,342 sq ft of office space on the second floor.
The deal was secured by CBRE’s office agency team together with joint agent Colliers.
Jonathan Cook, associate director at CBRE Manchester, said: "We are delighted to confirm the first letting at Vertex to Dandara Living. The complete modern transformation of Vertex together with its excellent location make it the ideal property for occupiers seeking modern, stylish, adaptable office space in a hugely popular area of Cheshire.
"This latest letting confirms the increasing demand for good quality accommodation of this calibre in South Manchester."
Wingstop
Chicken wing eatery Wingstop has chosen Manchester's Trafford Centre to open a new base in early spring 2022.
Taking a 2,991 sq ft unit in The Orient, Wingstop already has 40 restaurants across the country.
Tom Grogan, director of Lemon Pepper Holdings (Wingstop 海角视频), said: "We are thrilled to be part of Manchester Trafford Centre and expanding on our presence in Manchester city centre.
"We are committed to expanding the Wingstop brand across the country and look to announce a number of new openings shortly."
