South West construction firm celebrates 50th anniversary with new office and industry awards

A South West construction consultancy has celebrated its 50th anniversary by building on its portfolio of offices and picking up four industry awards.

º£½ÇÊÓÆµ top 100 consultancy Bailey Partnership is headquartered in Plymouth and also has branches in Bristol, Exeter, St Austell and London.

The firm, founded in 1971, has now expanded by opening a new base in Chichester, West Sussex and has grown its workforce by 20% in the last 12 months to a headcount of 110 across its operations.

The company offers architecture, surveying, structural and civil engineering, and town planning services. It recently introduced fire engineering specialisms to support cladding remediation teams working across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ.

Its Plymouth practice has been involved in projects including The Range headquarters and the regeneration of Colin Campbell Court and Bath Street to create the Millbay Boulevard.

Bailey Partnership’s internal and external fire safety refurbishment work on three Mount Wise Tower blocks was recently recognised at this year’s Constructing Excellence Awards South West ceremony.

Its contribution to the £12m project scored wins in the Value and Health and Safety, Building Project of the Year, and the Winner of Winners categories.

The company also bagged the Conservation and Regeneration award for its work to renovate the Saltash Train Station building in Cornwall.
