IT solutions provider D2NA is relocating to a new headquarters – four times the size of its former base.

The company has moved its 20-strong workforce from Newcastle’s Lymedale Business Centre to Digital Balance’s former Phoenix Works site on King Street, in Longton.

The move was prompted by a suggestion from staff on a team away day who were keen on the idea of relocating to more collaborative and open office space.

Now the company has four times the amount of space spread over two floors – and enough room to expand its workforce and launch new services including training and conferencing.

Matt Satongar, managing director at D2NA, said he hopes that the new space will allow the company to showcase some of the technologies it offers, where customers can visit and get hands-on experience and training.

He said: “The team felt that the conventional style of office working was stunting our growth as a company and wasn’t synonymous with the D2NA ethos.

“We started the search for an environment that would encourage creativity and where the team could work together in comfortable surroundings over a nice coffee or even a pizza. At the same time, we felt it was important to stay true to our Stoke-on-Trent heritage.

“Our new space at Phoenix Works is allowing us to create a modern collaborative workspace inside a traditional Potteries building.”
