Software firm finds new home in Birmingham

Invida is relocating to the newly revamped Northspring building in Temple Street

A software firm is relocating its team to a new home in Birmingham.

Invida, which specialises in estates and facilities software for property owners and operators, is moving to Northspring at 31 Temple Street. It was previously based in Edmund House, Newhall Street.

Chief executive Garry Metcalfe said: "As we continually outgrew our office, we kept defaulting to shared accommodation until we realised our property was beginning to detract from what we were trying to achieve.

"The search for a new workspace led us to Northspring Temple Street which hit a unique sweet spot. We can't wait for this to be our new, hopefully forever, home".

The fit out work on the new office is being carried out by Manchester-based Workspace Design & Build. Previously home to law firm Irwin Mitchell for many years, Northspring has undergone a major overhaul.

New facilities include 23 separate office suites, a business lounge, a screening room, podcast studio and private booths for video calls.

Other tenants to have signed up for space there include civil engineering consultancy Mclaughlin & Harvey, Altera Healthcare and Caddick Construction.
