Great Western Arcade

High street retailer Snow+Rock has opened a second store in Birmingham city centre.

The company has taken 329 sq ft in the Great Western Arcade, Colmore Row, to complement its much larger shop in nearby Priory Queensway.

Snow+Rock sells clothing and equipment for activities such as rock climbing, camping, skiing and hiking and has circa 20 stores across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ and Ireland.

The arcade has also recently welcomed skatewear store Projekt21 which opened a 908 sq ft shop early last month, stocking brands such as Diamond Supply Co, Acapulco Gold and Staple Clothing.

Centre manager Gay Faulkner said: "This is a really exciting time for Great Western Arcade. We have a new focus on retail which is resulting in a number of new tenants joining us.

"I'm delighted to have Snow+Rock and Projekt21 on board as they bring with them a new demographic of shopper, all of whom will benefit from our existing retail offering too.

"This is just the start of the new look Great Western Arcade - we will be welcoming several new retailers throughout June and July."

Existing tenants include Birmingham Post and Mail, Loki Wine and The Liquor Store.
