Business 2 Business has secured new office space in Lombard House in Birmingham

A skills and employment support company is expanding its presence in Birmingham city centre.

Business 2 Business has taken 1,900 sq ft of space on the third floor of Lombard House, in Great Charles Street, on a lease assignment from Mode Transport Planning.

It was previously based in serviced offices at Regus' Crossway, also in Great Charles Street.

Business 2 Business was set up 37 years ago to tackle unemployment and social exclusion through upskilling and the delivery of vocational training.

Headquartered in Leicester, the company also has offices in Loughborough and Wolverhampton and has helped 37,900 people gain training or employment since 2011.

Property agency CBRE advised Mode Transport Planning on the lease assignment.

Brooke Matthews, surveyor in CBRE's office agency team in Birmingham, said: "Having vacated the space, Mode Transport approached us to assist it in finding a new tenant to take on the remainder of its lease.
