American leisure and sport footwear giant Skechers has chosen Cardiff as its first location the 海角视频 for its new look store format. It has taken on an empty unit at Newport Road for the store, which is scheduled to open in June next year. It will extend to 14,000 sq ft.
As part of a 海角视频 wide expansion the Skechers plans to secure other sites across the 海角视频 for its new standalone store format.
Sterling Real Estate IM and EJ Hales advised the undisclosed private investor and developer landlord on the letting. CBRE represented Skechers. The unit was previously occupied by Newport Furnishers.

The length of the lease and rental agreement have not been disclosed. Ahead of the opening the building is undergoing a major remodelling and refurbishment with new glazing, cladding works, separate entrance features and a new access to the first floor.
EJ Hale said there is strong interest in the unit鈥檚 remaining 13,000 sq ft.

Moreover, bridal boutique Bridal Eva Ashley is expanding with a new store in Cardiff at Castle Arcade. The firm, which specialising in high-end bridal collections, said the new store will be it largest to date, adding to existing outlets in Swansea and Tonypandy.
The Swansea-based business is run by sisters Rebecca and Rachel Chick. They said: 鈥淲e are so excited to bring our concept to Cardiff. Eva Ashley Bridal is known for offering gowns that are not widely available.
鈥淲e carefully select dresses that reflect the individuality of our brides, and our Cardiff store will enhance this by providing an expansive range of exclusive, high-fashion designs.鈥
The store is scheduled to open at the end of the month. The business was set up 2017.
