A growing civil and structural engineering consultancy has promoted three of its engineers to associates.

Senior structural engineers Matthew Endacott and Tom Hender and civil engineer James Welch have all become associates at Birmingham-based CWA.

Mr Endacott joined CWA in 2011 having worked at Cox Turner Morse for nine years.

He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1998 with a masters degree in civil and structural engineering.

Mr Hender began his career with Couch Consulting, after graduating with first class honours from the University of Wolverhampton, and joined CWA last year, having worked on projects in the industrial, educational, sports and healthcare sectors.

Mr Welch graduated from Cardiff University before spending six years with WSP.

He is an expert on drainage, highways and ground modelling and his experience includes projects in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

CWA director Dave Copeland said: "Matthew, Tom and James have proved themselves to be engineers of the highest calibre while they have been at CWA to the benefit of our wide range of high profile and blue chip clients."
