A national recruitment agency has expanded in the North and Scotland as part of growth plans.

Daniel Owen, a specialist recruitment agency for the construction, engineering, rail and property industries, has ten offices across the 海角视频 and first made moves into the North East with the opening of a 鈥楴orthern Hub鈥 in Newcastle last year.

Now the business has opened new offices in Leeds and Glasgow, while also becoming the first tenant of Newcastle鈥檚 newest business centre.

The firm has moved into Haylofts, which provides innovative office space in the old Newcastle Brewery stables on St Thomas Street, next to the Haymarket travel interchange.

The renovated space has 22 offices, seven meeting rooms, a lecture space for 80 and broadband speeds of up to 100Gbps, a first for business centres in Newcastle.

David Gill, MD, of Daniel Owen North, said: 鈥淲e鈥檝e been blown away by how well the new Newcastle office has done and needed to relocate to new premises to cater for an increase in team members.

鈥淲e looked around, but once we visited Haylofts we knew we鈥檇 found the right place.

鈥淲e鈥檝e also opened offices in Leeds and Glasgow as part of the company鈥檚 expansion plans.

"From Haylofts we鈥檙e looking to increase our presence and clients across the whole of the North and into Scotland.鈥

HyHubs, the business centre chain that includes Hoults Yard in Byker and Hypoint in Gateshead, has worked on the former St Thomas Street stables since late last year.

Charlie Hoult, HyHubs鈥 managing director, said: 鈥淥ur mission is to create 鈥榩roperty with personality鈥 for customers 鈥 with a future-facing combination of tech and configuration.

"You can see that across Haylofts: we鈥檝e retained great heritage features and built a super-modern pod in the glazed courtyard.

鈥淗aylofts couldn鈥檛 be more central - adjacent to the Haymarket transport interchange and next to Newcastle University鈥檚 main campus. It鈥檚 perfect for full-time employees or for a shared office environment for co-working. Despite the lockdown, we鈥檝e had huge interest.

鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted to welcome Daniel Owen as our first Haylofts tenant 鈥 people are falling in love with the place when they come through our doors,鈥 said Charlie.

Horse-theme branding for Haylofts has been provided by renowned North-East street artist Pete Manning, aka Prefab77, who has created exclusive, bespoke equine wall art for the centre.
