The scheme is expected to bring £120m investment to the city and create more than 3,000 jobs

St Michael's Fly Through

A series of major updates have been released about Gary Neville's £400m landmark development in Manchester city centre.

The St Michael's scheme is being brought to the market through a collaboration between Relentless Developments and stakeholders KKR, Salboy and Manchester City Council.

The £150m phase one, branded No.1 St Michael's, will comprise nine floors of office space while global restaurant brand Chotto Matte will occupy the rooftop with two food and beverage outlets situated on the ground floor.

The £250m phase two is a 41-storey tower which will be home to a 162-bed, five-star international hotel brand as well as 217 residences and an additional 75,000 sq ft of office space.

The development will also incorporate a public square which will see the historic Sir Ralph Abercromby pub retained following a substantial refurbishment.

No.1 St Michael's is expected to be the first fully net zero carbon commercial development in the city. The whole scheme has been designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and Hodder & Partners.

The companies behind the development have said the scheme will bring £120m investment to the city and create more than 3,000 jobs.
