A growing property consultancy has opened a new office in Teesside following a host of new project wins in the area.

Newcastle-based construction and property consultancy Summers-Inman already employs 130 people across eight º£½ÇÊÓƵ offices, including Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds, Leicester, Birmingham and London.

Now the firm, which counts the likes of the NHS, Aldi, Walkers, PepsiCo, Tesco and McDonald’s as its customers, has opened its latest base at Belasis Hall Technology Park in Billingham, after a number of successful years of trading in Teesside.

The opening comes as Summers-Inman tots up projects – completed or currently under way – valued at more than £57m for Teesside University, as part of its £300m campus masterplan.

Work includes the first phase of the Net Zero building, the National Horizons Centre and the Cornell Quarter.

The company is also about to start work on a project at Middlesbrough College and has several others in the pipeline in the region.

Director David Blakey said: “We have opened this office to allow our existing team members to work closely with our clients and directly develop our client base from our new hub.
