New plans have been lodged to demolish a run-down Birmingham building and replace it with new apartments and commercial space.
Sheffield-based developer HBD is behind the scheme to raze Cornwall House, at the corner of Lionel Street and Ludgate Hill in the Jewellery Quarter, with 95 apartments.
If approved, the new complex will also include ground floor commercial space.

The canalside building has been designed by Jewellery Quarter-based BPN Architects and is influenced by the city's heritage and history.

HBD's development manager Simon Raiye said: "This scheme will deliver 95 new apartments in one of the city's most popular neighbourhoods - design and quality will be the absolute focus.

Plans were first revealed in June ahead of a public consultation.

Last year, HBD acquired the five-storey block which has offices and was home to white collar boxing gym Fighting Fit for many years and more recently has housed dance school Sote Studios.
This will be the company's first residential scheme in Birmingham.
The site is opposite Ludgate Hill Car Park where Moda Living unveiled major plans in March to build more than 700 new apartments and commercial space in a project reaching up to 39 storeys.
