A digital advertising company is planning to create 150 jobs in Birmingham by opening a new head office building.

Allsee Technologies, which is currently based in Bartley Green, has lodged plans to build a new 80,000 sq ft HQ with offices and a digital tech centre on Longbridge Business Park.

The business, which also has offices in Belgium, China, India and Uganda, was founded in 2007 and develops the hardware and software for commercial LCD and LED outdoor and indoor display screens.

Its products are used by retailers, restaurants, hotels, schools and hospitals. Allsee Technologies said it would invest £20 million into creating the new base where it is expecting to recruit for at least 150 new roles.

The centre will be used to develop high-value digital display technologies.

Submission of this new planning application to Birmingham City Council follows a recent land deal with regeneration group St Modwen to acquire 2.3 acres of land for the HQ.

St Modwen is carrying out a long-running regeneration of the former MG Rover plant in Longbridge to create new housing and a broad mix of commercial and educational properties.
