Plans have been lodged to build almost 600 new apartments in Birmingham city centre.
The project would see the council's Paradise Circus Car Park, in Brindley Drive, demolished to make way for two new buildings, of 15 and 46 storeys respectively, containing 581 one- and two-bedroom units to rent only. Other planned amenities include a rooftop garden, co‑working space and a gym.
The project is being led by Birmingham-based developer Court Collaboration, with US investor PGIM Real Estate as funding partner, and has been designed by architecture practice CallisonRTKL.

This latest developments follows the news last week that Court Collaboration had secured a £200 million funding deal to support another of its city centre residential schemes, the 51-storey One Eastside in Jennens Road.
Court Collaboration's managing director Alex Neale said: "Thank you to everybody who took part in our public consultation for Brindley Drive.
"The feedback has helped us to finalise our plans and it's great to see the application in with the council. We'll now go through further engagement exercises with officers as we move towards a future committee date.
"If approved, Brindley Drive will help set a new standard for city centre living, fusing style and comfort with sustainability. With our recent news regarding One Eastside as well, it's truly an exciting time for Court, our partners and the city we adore."
