City council chiefs in Birmingham have approved plans to build one of the region's tallest residential buildings.
Designs for the 51-storey One Eastside project in the city centre were unveiled in May and have now won the backing of council planners.
Birmingham-based developer Court Collaboration is behind the project on land at the corner of Jennens Road and James Watt Queensway.

The £160 million scheme will comprise two blocks, of 51 and 15 storeys respectively, containing 667 one- and two-bedroom apartments to rent alongside retail and leisure facilities.
These will include a gym, yoga room, cinema and sky lounge and bar.
The larger tower will stand at 525 ft, giving it the title of Birmingham's tallest structure ahead of the BT Tower in the Jewellery Quarter which is 499 ft.
It will be one of the first things seen by passengers alighting trains at the nearby HS2 station in Curzon Street when it opens.

Members of Birmingham City Council's planning committee expressed concerns that three per cent of the development had been allocated as affordable housing.
Cllr Lou Robson branded the figure "pathetic" while others matters were raised over the potential impact on neighbouring residential schemes.
Birmingham Airport has also withdrawn its objections over the potential impact the construction cranes might have on passing planes, an issue which had previously stalled the awarding of planning permission.
