Pictures: Inside Concord House as show apartments launched

Former Debenhams warehouse conversion branded 'monstrous' by city councillor shows off two new apartments to tempt city dwellers to part with upwards of £275,000

A £10 million city centre redevelopment by a city councillor has now unveiled a brace of show apartments.

The former Debenhams warehouse in Holloway Head, known as Concord House, is undergoing a wholesale renovation by Warwickshire property group Elevate which will take it from five to seven storeys once penthouse apartments are added.

Tonight, the firm is officially launching two show apartments expressed by Coun Barry Henley two months ago who said the project was a contender for the notorious Carbuncle Cup.

Elevate hopes the 19-apartment development will usher in "a new era of inner-city luxury living" with prices ranging from £275,000 to £675,000 for the apartments while the price of the penthouses is available on application.

The show apartments, which can be seen in the gallery above, are themed 'Vintage industrial meets the explorer' and 'Mid 20th century style meets 1960s movie art'.
