Following the announcement of a new board team, the property consultancy and auctioneer has unveiled a reorganisation of the residential service charge (RSC) department.

The department, which specialises in managing flats, sheltered schemes and mixed-use developments, is to be split geographically.

Newly promoted partner Martin Nicholls and existing partner Bill Drake-Lee have therefore become head of region for the Midlands & North and London & South respectively.

Mr Nicholls has been with the company since 1999 and specialises in residential property management and is involved with national and local developers in setting up new service charge schemes.

CPBigwood manages around 25,000 units spread over more than 500 developments across 30 counties in England, and currently has a pipeline of 15,000 new units across the country.

Ian Smallman, executive partner of RSC operations, said: "We have been rapidly expanding our units under management and we have ambitious targets for further growth.

"To meet those challenges we decided it was the right time to make these changes.
