Pair of promotions at Avison Young and more property appointments news

Two new directors in consultancy's Birmingham office, communications chief joins developer Godwin and promotions at Hortons' Estate

Commercial property agency Avison Young has made two senior promotions in its Birmingham office.

Tesni Thacker has been promoted to director within the industrial team and Jennifer Price is also now a director in the rates management advisory team.

Ms Thacker leads a seven-strong cohort in the Birmingham office in a field which has seen a busy 12 months on the back of changing demand brought on by the coronavirus crisis.

Ms Price has worked for more than ten years at Avison Young, managing the local tax liabilities for clients across a wide variety of sectors including Mobile Broadband Network, NatWest and The Argyll Club.

Carl Potter, managing director at Avison Young in Birmingham, said: "We're thrilled to make Tesni and Jennifer directors in our Birmingham office and extend our huge congratulations to them both on their promotions.

In other property appointment news, residential and commercial property developer Godwin has appointed Catherine Hems as its new senior communications manager in Birmingham.
