Commercial property agency Avison Young has made two senior promotions in its Birmingham office.
Tesni Thacker has been promoted to director within the industrial team and Jennifer Price is also now a director in the rates management advisory team.
Ms Thacker leads a seven-strong cohort in the Birmingham office in a field which has seen a busy 12 months on the back of changing demand brought on by the coronavirus crisis.
Ms Price has worked for more than ten years at Avison Young, managing the local tax liabilities for clients across a wide variety of sectors including Mobile Broadband Network, NatWest and The Argyll Club.

The event will be held at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on Thursday November 11 and will celebrate apprentices, employers and training providers across 12 categories including our overall Apprentice of the Year.

In other property appointment news, residential and commercial property developer Godwin has appointed Catherine Hems as its new senior communications manager in Birmingham.

Ms Hems has taken on a newly created role to lead Godwin's communications and boost stakeholder engagement across a growing portfolio of residential and commercial projects.

He has extensive experience of leading transformation programmes to replace or maintain property through a 25-year career in the built environment sector.
Mr Edwards provides services such as assurance around building safety and compliance, maximising building efficiency and highlighting opportunities for investment.

Birmingham property group Hortons' Estate has made two promotions.
Steve Tommy is its new head of asset management and James Slater is now in charge of building surveying and development.
Mr Tommy is a chartered surveyor who joined Hortons' Estate in 1996 as an estate manager.
Mr Slater has been part of the Hortons' team since 2000 and worked on the long-running regeneration of the Grand Hotel in Colmore Row which for nearly 20 years.
Property and construction consultancy Rider Levett Bucknall has appointed Julian Henley as national head of public and civic sector, based at its Colmore Row office in Birmingham.
Mr Henley brings more than 20 years of experience in operational delivery, leadership, strategy and business development across public sector areas such as defence, housing, regeneration, water utilities and industrial.
Joining from global consulting and engineering business Wood, his previous clients include the Crown Commercial service, the Ministry of Defence, Homes England and numerous local authorities.
